Thas funny, if you use the same browser on both devices you already have this function... Called synching. Without any additional software. And there are already a lot of apps on the market which can send your notifications and so on direct to your pc, even share the screen live via wifi and control it nearly complete from your PC. If windows is intrested in doing this they should do it in the correct way, make an app that direct connects both devices without the need for a cloud share. Just improve the microsoft remote desktop app and add some features and you are done.
